Enrico Zennaro

Chioggiavela  is a very important event for Enrico because it takes part in his city and is organized by the Circolo Nautico Chioggia club of which Enrico is an honorary member.

Enrico wins the 2013 edition with the Melges 24 Arkanoè and the 2014 edition at the helm of one of the most important boats in the Italian sailing history: IL MORO DI VENEZIA.

The boat designed by German Frers and built at the shipyard Tencara was launched in 1990 on behalf of the Owner Raul Gardini and the skipper Paul Cayard.

“We trained on saturday be as ready as possible, on sunday we had all eyes focused on us and I have to admit that it has been a great experience. We have involved as crew also the young athletes of CNC (Chioggia Yacht Club) and we had, as a guest, our friend Marco Schiavuta, who at the age of 24 with this boat in San Diego took part at the races of the Luis Vuitton Cup winning this regatta and going to sail the Americas Cup final match against America 3. ”
