Enrico Zennaro

I am an italian professional sailor. I am 39 year old and I am a surveyor. I started to sail very young in the Optimist class with some good results. Then in the Laser class I have obtained for four consecutive years the title of District Champion and a lot of national and international results: due to hem I join the Italian Olimpic Sailing Team (1999-2002). In 2000 I was in the Italian Navy Sailing Team. Now I sail more then 200 days every year in the most important circuits like Farr 40, Melges 20, 24, 32, ORC, IRC, Swan 60 and Match Race usually in the role of tactician, helmsman or mainsail trimmer often in the role of skipper of the boat.

I won 8 World titles, 7 European titles, 11 Italian titles and some of the most prestigious races in the world such as: Barcolana, Swan Cup, Giro D’italia A Vela, Palermo-Montecarlo Orc, Nord Stream Race, Primo Cup, Coppa Del Rey, Key West Race Week, Veleziana, Capri Sailing Week and the Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup.

In 2012 I was the local expert for Emirates Team New Zealand during the Americas cup World Series event in Venice.

In 2013 I was the team manager of “Team Italy Powered by Stig”, the only Italian team that participated in the Red Bull Youth Americas Cup Selections Series in San Francisco

In 2014 I was the Testimonial of the Venice International Boat Show sailing events.

In 2015 I participate in the role of mainsailtrimmer/tactician to the Extreme Sailing Series: one of the most important circuit for professional sailor. I have sailed in Singapore, Muscat, Qingdao, Cardiff, Amburgo, San Pietroburgo, Istanbul, Trieste and Sydney.

In 2016 I was the TV commentator during the Portsmouth event of the Americas Cup World Series and I started to sail in the Moth class.

In 2017 I was the tactician of Adelasia di Torres the only italian Team to partecipate to the Arabian Sailing Tour.

In 2018-2019 I was the co-skipper and the team manager of the 100’ feet named “CQS-Tempus Fugit” during the Barcolana Race.

In 2019 I start to sailing in the Moth class. I sailed the Rolex Fastnet Race like helmsman of the cookson 50 Kuka 3.

My goal is to improve and increase my sailing experience by competing with the great champions of the sport of sailing and I hope that my determination will help me to achieve even more prestigious results.
